Exhaust arms

What are exhaust arms

Exhaust arms are equipment used to capture contaminant at the source (fumes, vapours, gases and dusts), and feature joints and rotating systems, which decrease the exposure of workers to harmful substances.
These exhaust products can be individual units or be part of a centralised capturing system, designed to cover various work stations.

From a composition point of view, the exhaust arms are equipped with a series of articulated pipes, through which the contaminants intercepted in the emission zone pass.
As a rule, they comprise 2 pieces of pipe, which can be of variable length, and are held together by a joint.
An exhauster hood is positioned at the end pointing towards the point of origin of the contaminants, while on the opposite side there is a revolving turntable.
